Diffusion and Promotion of Science
I am doing several actions of diffusion and promotion of science. In particular, I am member of two research groups at the IREM Clermont-Ferrand. (Most of the resources linked below are in French, but you can contact me if you are interested!)
ISO - Unplugged Computer Science
The ISO (Informatique Sans Ordinateur) Group designs activities to discover computer science without using a computer. Those activities are dedicated to elementary, middle, and/or high school students. Everything that is needed to do those activities is available on the website of the ISO group. Some examples of possible activities:
Collaborative poster activity: Each student decodes a small part of the image to create a giant pixel art. This activity can be used to introduce the coding of images by a computer (concept of pixel) and binary and hexadecimal writing.
Binary activity: Using a magic trick, students discover the binary writing of numbers (with 0s and 1s) used by computers.

Girls & Maths & Computer Science
The Girls & Maths & Computer Science Group promotes mathematics and computing to young girls and addresses gender stereotypes. It organizes an annual meeting dedicated to high school girls. In particular, I participated in the organization of two of these events:
- Rendez-vous des Jeunes Mathématiciennes et Informaticiennes of Clermont-Ferrand in 2022: For three days, 20 high school girls from Auvergne came to the campus of the Université Clermont Auvergne. On the program: discussions on gender stereotypes, workshops on computer science and mathematics, and meetings with women working in these fields.
- Journée Filles, maths et informatique : une équation lumineuse in 2024: A hundred high school girls from Auvergne came to spend a day on the campus of Université Clermont Auvergne. During the day, they met female scientists, discussed gender stereotypes and discovered careers in computer science and mathematics.

Events and animations
I regularly go meet with classes or participate to events open to the public to animate popularization workshops. Here is a non-exhaustive list of events in which I have participated :
MathC2+
I animated a computer science workshop for junior high school students during the MathC2+ internships organized at the Université Clermont-Auvergne at each the yearly edition since 2021.
This workshop was on distributed algorithms in 2021 and 2022, then on Bézier curves and images in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Robotics challenge
Each year since 2023, I sponsor an elementary class for the robotics challenge of the Fundation “La main à la pâte” :
- In 2023 : school in St Amand Roche Savine
- In 2024 : school in Ravel
- In 2025 : school in Chamalières
- In 2026 : school in Flat
In this challenge, the pupils must program a Thymio robot to perform various tasks, such as moving along a road until encountering an obstacle.

Nuées ardentes
I co-animated a stand during the festival Les Nuées Ardentes in 2024 and 2025. This science festival is organized at the bottom of the Puy de Dôme by the university. On our stand, we propose an escape game where visitors must solve cryptography puzzles.

Open days at IUT Clermont Auvergne
I animated workshops during the open days of the IUT Clermont Auvergne allowing the visitors to discover topics teached at the IUT. For example, in 2020, 2022, and 2023, I animated a workshop on databases. In 2024, I helped students presenting a project they have done under my supervision.

Meeting with classes
I met with classes to talk about my job and animate workshop on various topics of computer sciences. In 2022, I went to the Pierre Galéry junior high school in Massiac. In 2023 and 2025, I went to La Fayette high school in Brioude. I also met with classes of the Jeanne D’Arc high school in Clermont-Ferrand during the math week in 2023 and 2025.

Parcours Digital
I animated a workshop on image processing during the Parcours Digital of the Digital League in 2023.
